In the following topics…

We will be discussing three different set operations, namely set union, intersection, and complements. These operations are, in a weird sense, analogous to our usual concepts of addition, multiplication, and subtraction, respectively. These set operations, surprisingly, also have many of the same algebraic properties as our usual arithmetical operations.
